Boniva

Boniva is infused intravenously in women who are suffering from or want to prevent postmenopausal osteoporosis. Boniva works by increasing bone mineral density while simultaneously reducing the risk of having a spinal fracture. Boniva is infused once every three months until the treating physician determines if it is still right for the patient.
